John J Hoegen AKA Con Artist/THEIF

John J Hoegen aka CON ARTIST/THIEF do you know this man ? He has committed CONS from Rhode Island to Largo Florida. You can read other blogs by googling his name . He is white male 5ft 7 in dark brown hair medium complected approx 220 lbs give or take a few. DOB 9/1/1980 LIVES WITH Alicia and there 3 kids. Claims to be experienced in everything from construction to towing. Which upon my research he did hold a contractor licence in Chepachet,RI REGISTRATION NUMBER 19148 however it has been REVOKED due to violations 4 to be exact and more pending plus you can see the complaints on the BBB.COM. His new scam was to manage a towing company for a older gentlemen who invested his money and John J Hoegenproceeded to have funds diverted to a P.O. BOX where he scammed this man for 26,000 dollars. He has committed similar deceptions in Rhode Island on blogs i found googled. The most despicable is the scam he ran on a woman with cancer her husband hired him to do some work downstairs of their house as she was not able to go upstairs anymore and he took them for $800.00. I want to help get justice for all individuals that have been scammed by this man. please email me with any information mohippiegirl@yahoo.com.     Hoegen scammed a lot of people up in RI too. He was finally arrested in Florida if you don't already know!!!!!

    All right! Jay Hoegen! You finally got the beginning of what you deserve.

    What people who listen to the news and hear announcements of criminal trials pending don't know is how many civil cases a person can also have pending against them. If the public knew what a scoundrel you were, and how many of us have won court settlements against you, you'd lose everything, including those beautiful children. They deserve to be with parents who can nurture and care for them: not live in squalor and worms!

    You don't deserve the honor of breeding.

    he is currently my tenant in RI, we go to court tomorrow to evict him and his wife alicia and their 3 kids - the poor kids! they used fake names when they applied for our apartment, saying they were currently living with her mother and needed out of there. they have been w/ us since april of this year, in may we had problems, now onto eviction, he was due to be out by august 1st, is still there unlawfully. we'll see how tomorrow goes. so far though he is only behind one month in rent! as if thats a bright side...

    Recently answered an ad on craigslist for a roofer with experience. Got a call from this guy to use my tools and equipment to do a roof at 367 webster ave in cranston. I agreed to do the work took 2- days with 4 other guys he hired. Job was completed then he decided to take the money and not pay the guys who did the work.. It's been three weeks and still chasing him. He gave a false name of his company, and his first name was John not Jay. He told me he never got paid for the work but I personally talked to the primary contractor(JAY was a sub) and The primary contractor assured me he got paid. OSHA is involved as well cause of him trying to force people on the job to work without safety equipment. I finally got his real address 15 Rachela St Johnston RI. and the numbers hes using these days are 996-0424 and 230-7681. I checked with contractors board and his reg was revoked. It's unreal that someone can rip the working guy off and get away with it. I'm hoping the other guys that are chasing their money from this job see this for updated info on him. This guy has been ripping people off since 2008 that i have found online. Type his name into your browser and his name comes up with multiple rip off scams.

    This theif may have been arrested in January, but he is still up to no good! He placed an add on Craigs list a bit ago that my husband answered. He worked for over 2 weeks and hasn't been paid - we're owed about $2000. The other guys on the job are all owed money by him too! It took us forever to figure out who he really was because of the fake names and addresses. I can't believe how deceitful and downright slimy people can be! Help Me Hank!....here we come!

    John needs to be stopped.I am currently in contact with a state official who is working very hard to stop him.he is on probation,and still ripping working people off daily.contact me and I will give you johns numbers,and current address.I will also give you the name of the official working this,and his probation officers name and info.if enough people contact this man,specially anything since Jan 2010,he WILL be stopped soon.don't be a victim,help the state,and your fellow working man by comeing forward.

      my husband and a good friend are were working for them untill yesterday when he refused to give them both over 1000 he owes them for over 70 hours of work they performed. I have found alot of information on this guy and I would love his probation officer and the official you are working with..We are meeting him in a couple of hours if you have the officials number we can hand this man to you..stuck between a rock and a hard place should we call the state police?

      Take it from a fellow contractor who got screwed. John's scheme time after time is to not pay any of us workers and not return calls. Then, he always lies and states that the customer didn't pay him. In truth, the building owner and homeowner is also getting screwed.

      Trust me, the state of RI is now on our side.

      1. File a complaint with the RI State Police. Be sure to include Alicia Hanosky if se was involved. I think it is his girlfriend who runs the scams under her fake business. I happen to know one of her (former) friends and she is in a heap of trouble, including fraud up in providence.

      2. 100% call the RI Contractor's Board. They are there to protect us and are probably the best grop I ever dealt with. The head guy is named George and he is a pit bull, true to his word. you through it. Downside is there is $25 filing fee but you can get that back along with damages. In fact, the Contractor Board is unique because they hold power under RI law to leverage the Attorney General's office. If John doesn't do what he should = arrested. Same for Allisha. Bottom line, you WILL get your money, probably in payments.

      Trust me on this one, you will be impressed with how much they will help you. They are tradesmen just like us and hate con men like John.

    I too was scammed by this piece of shit I gave him plenty of chances to pay me and ive been told excuse after excuse just like hes done to dozens maybe hundreds of people. his new phone number is 4012437880 and his partner ( Alicia hanosky ) in crime email address is aiciamh3@hotmail. he owes me $1500 plus tools about $1750 total. im going forward with pressing charges there are 4 or 5 other guys he never payyed from one job in particular in boston. then another job he had me and another guy drive to RI to do a citizens bank. in which I was never payyed for. same deal with a gym in Webster ma. no employees were payyed and the companies that subcontracted the work to him also got beat because the work was never completed and he billed them for more then he did. my email is richiemover@gmail.com
